Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions El Paso homeowners ask most about drywall and sheetrock repair. Don't see yours? Text us a photo and ask.

Pricing & Estimates

How much does drywall repair cost in El Paso?

It depends on the size and type of damage, but repairs start at $149 and you always get one flat price in writing before any work begins — material and labor together, no per-square-foot surprises. The fastest way to a number is to text us a photo of the damage.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Send a photo by text or let us take a quick look in person and the written estimate is free, with no walk-through fee. You approve the number or you do not.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, checks and cash. Payment is due on completion of the work.

Texture Matching

Will the repair be invisible once it is painted?

That is the standard we work to. We cut back to solid board, tape and mud the seam flat, then reproduce your existing texture by hand and feather the edges into the wall. Once primed and painted, you should not be able to find the repair.

Which textures can you match?

Orange peel, knockdown, skip-trowel, splatter and hand-trowel textures, on both walls and ceilings. We test the pattern on the actual wall before committing so the match is right.

Do you paint the repaired area too?

We leave the patch sanded, textured and primer-ready as standard. Painting the repaired area is available as an add-on, quoted separately so you only pay for what you want.

Scheduling & Process

How soon can you come out?

Most El Paso drywall repairs are scheduled within the same week, and many are finished in a single visit. Water damage and urgent jobs we try to fit in sooner — text us and we will tell you the soonest window.

How long does a typical repair take?

A straightforward hole or crack is usually patched, taped and textured in one visit. Larger jobs, or repairs where the compound and texture need to cure before paint, may need a short return trip, which we tell you about up front.

Is drywall work messy?

Sanding creates dust, which is why we use dust-controlled sanding and protect the surrounding area, floors and furniture. Popcorn ceiling removal is the dustiest job, so we fully mask the room first and clean up as we go.

Water Damage & Ceilings

Can I just paint over a water stain?

No. A stain means water got behind the board, and painting over it traps moisture and often mold. We remove the damaged section, confirm the cavity is dry, then replace and refinish it to match.

Do you remove popcorn ceilings?

Yes. We mask and protect the room, scrape the texture, repair any damage underneath, and refinish the ceiling smooth or to a modern knockdown — quoted per room up front.

Can you fix a cracked or sagging ceiling?

Yes. We re-secure or replace the affected ceiling board, repair the joint so it stays closed, and match the ceiling texture so the repair blends in.

Service Area & Warranty

What areas do you serve?

We cover the whole El Paso metro — East El Paso, West El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Central El Paso, Downtown El Paso, Lower Valley, Upper Valley, Mission Valley and more — within about a 30 miles radius. See our areas page for the full list.

Do you do commercial drywall work?

Yes. We handle offices, retail units and rental turnovers — repairs, patch-and-paint and small build-outs — with a written scope and price before we mobilize.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every repair is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty, and we are a local, fully licensed and insured El Paso crew.
